Services & Solutions

Senior, independent risk support for complex decision environments.
We provide Boards, Executives, and SME leaders with the unvarnished truth. Our core services focus on Fractional Risk leadership, GTM growth strategy, and the independent assurance of major capital programs.
Each one answers a distinct question a board or accountable executive eventually has to ask. Who sits at the table when the risk decision needs to be made. How a credible business grows into markets that take years rather than weeks. Whether a major programme is actually delivering, or only appearing to.
The same principle runs through all three. Senior delivery, personal accountability, the person you meet at scoping doing the work.

Tailored Solutions for Your Needs
01
Fractional Risk Executive
A retainer that embeds a senior risk and security leader inside the executive team without the cost of a full-time hire. Scope typically covers board and audit committee reporting, ownership of the enterprise risk register, oversight of security and risk policy, incident readiness, and acting as the executive voice on cyber and operational risk to the CEO, board, regulators, customers, and prime contractors.

Typical buyer. A mid-market firm of 50 to 500 staff where the CIO or COO has been carrying these responsibilities as a side duty, or a growth-stage business where investors and primes are starting to ask harder governance questions.
Advisory
1–2 days per month
Board cycle support, quarterly risk reviews, and on-call advisory for the executive. Suited to firms with an existing security function that need senior oversight rather than operational involvement.
Executive
4–6 days per month
Active program ownership, regular board engagement, policy and regulatory work, and external representation to regulators, primes, and customers. The default tier for most clients.
Embedded
8+ days per month
Deep operational involvement, including program design, remediation oversight, and incident leadership, for firms in highly regulated environments or post-incident situations.
02
Growth Strategy Advisory
Strategy and execution support for cyber, ICT, and professional services firms looking to scale into enterprise, government, and other markets where the sales cycle is long and the buyer is sophisticated. Covers go-to-market positioning, channel and partner strategy, capture planning for major opportunities, account development, and the longer-arc work of building credibility and pipeline in markets that take years rather than weeks to develop.

Typical buyer. A CEO, founder, or growth lead at an SME or scale-up with a credible capability but no internal muscle for the commercial and strategic side. Draws on a track record of taking sovereign consulting firms through significant growth phases, including the harder commercial work of reducing sector concentration, broadening the client base, and building more resilient growth engines.

03
Project Program Governance & Assurance
Independent oversight of major ICT, cyber, transformation, and capital programmes. Aimed at organisations running complex projects where the cost of failure is high, the steering committee needs an unvarnished view, and the existing assurance arrangements are not surfacing the problems early enough. Covers project health assessment, governance structure design and review, gate readiness and gate review, schedule and cost integrity, supplier and contract assurance, and the production of board-ready reporting that says what it actually means.

Typical Buyer: A board chair, accountable executive, programme sponsor, or audit committee responsible for a major project that has either drifted, stalled, missed a gate, or grown to a size where ad-hoc assurance is no longer adequate. Drawn from twenty-five years across Defence, the National Intelligence Community, and federal government, including direct delivery of a $6M+ national intelligence major capital project across 52 sites, ahead of schedule and under budget, and senior practice leadership on both the buy-side and the sell-side of major programmes.
Health Check
2-4 weeks Fixed fee
Independent assessment of a single project. Covers governance, schedule, cost, scope, risk, supplier performance. Produces one executive briefing with named findings and prioritised actions.
Gated Assurance
Per Gate - Fixed fee
Scheduled independent review at each major project gate. Covers readiness, residual risk, dependencies, supplier performance, with a clear go / no-go recommendation.
Enbedded
Monthly Retainer
Continuous oversight across the life of a project. Steering committee attendance, monthly status review, ad-hoc deep dives, direct reporting line to the accountable executive.
